Treatment for Vestibular and Balance Disorders

The licensed physical therapists at Columbia Physical Therapy, P.C. receive professional continuing education to improve treatment techniques for a wide variety of disorders such as balance or vestibular disorders.

For impaired balance or vertigo, let one of our PT's establish a treatment program that will be customized for you and may include postural stability exercises and gait training.

We'll use techniques to facilitate vestibular adaptation. You'll benefit from exercises to increase motion tolerance or improve dynamic equilibrium. If you exhibit somatosensory or proprioception deficits, you'll require treatment to focus on regaining righting reactions.

Contact Karen at (518) 758-7616 if you have questions about vestibular rehabilitation.

The staff is very professional, kind, and caring. They are genuinely concerned about your well-being and progress. I will be having a knee replacement and although I’m not looking forward to having the surgery, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my post-op therapy.
