Physical therapists are experts in how the body moves and we are happy to say we are settled in after our own most recent move within the Town of East Greenbush! You might have seen our recent billboards announcing the move to Springhurst Drive and the life size picture of the staff pointing the way. Located just off Columbia Turnpike we are continuing the tradition of quality care at convenient hours. Thankfully, the community has been extremely loyal to the therapists from whom they received treatment. Over the past 22 years, there have even been many people who came to our very first office and re-appear for a different ailment in our current office. We realize you have different providers to choose from and appreciate the fact that you return to Columbia Physical Therapy.
As we celebrate our 22nd year in East Greenbush and our 28th year as physical therapists, we thank the community for the opportunity to serve you and for your referrals of family and friends. Even though the location has changed, we have a staff that stays with us. You might have been treated by Amy Travis over the past 16 years or Andrew Stewart, 14 years, Denise Bilka and Cindy Brocks, 12 years, Karen Haber and Deb Winne 11 years, Gina (Mastrianni) Roemer and Jenn Church for 9 years, plus Adrienne Salvagni, 3 years, Stephanie Dedrick 2 years and Tija Hadjasz our newest addition this past year.
The cornerstones of our treatment are therapeutic exercise and functional training. In addition to "hands- on" care, PTs also educate patients to take care of themselves and to perform certain exercises on their own.
They spend the extra time you need to help improve your quality of life, from easing everyday aches and pains to treating more serious problems that prevent flexibility and movement. We also teach you how to take care of yourself, so you can prevent the pain from returning.
Whether you are living with diabetes, recovering from a stroke, a fall or a sports injury, Columbia Physical Therapy will work closely with you to evaluate your condition and develop an effective, personalized plan of care. Our physical therapist can help you achieve long-term results for many conditions, such as impaired balance, repetitive stress injuries, arthritis, back and neck pain and posture problems.
